A maintained data platform for your Cybertruck. Not a blog.

Lease math that's ZIP-accurate in all 50 states, every Cybertruck we can find listed, tracked around the clock, and recall and software alerts matched to your VIN. The decoder, recalls, and most calculators stay free. Plus is the deep, maintained panel.

Towing planner · Plus

Every stop tells you if you'll have to unhitch

Towing kills range. Everyone knows that part. The part that strands you is pulling into a Supercharger you physically cannot use, because most stalls are back-in and your trailer is still attached. Tesla's own trip planner does not know you are towing. It routes you to chargers, not to chargers you fit in. The Plus planner factors your actual load against 3,292 mapped Superchargers and 132 Tesla delivery and inventory locations, then labels every stop on your route: Trailer-friendly, or Unhitch likely. We track the whole network and flag the 159 sites with pull-through or end stalls, then tell you the day a new one opens. Nobody else joins those two datasets, because nobody else needed to. The range, charging, cargo, and powershare calculators stay free for everyone. Towing is the one that is Plus-only, because it is the one that depends on the full charging map underneath it.

Four sensors on every truck you own

Claim your VIN in your Garage and Plus keeps watch, matched to your specific truck rather than a headline about somebody else's, with every alert linking to its source so you can check it yourself. NHTSA publishes a recall the moment it lands, but you have to go looking for it. Tesla tells you eventually. We match it to your VIN and email you. Everything else on this page is something you go look at. The alerts are the part that means you can stop looking.

Model Y price alerts · Plus

Know when a new Model Y gets cheaper

Not everyone here owns a Cybertruck. If you are shopping a standard Model Y, Plus watches Tesla's new Model Y inventory for you. We check it twice a day and email you when a listed car is cut $1,000 or more, or when a new one lists below the lowest price we've seen for its trim in the last 30 days. Most new Model Ys leave Tesla's inventory within days, so every email links straight to the car on tesla.com. Demo cars are always labelled with their miles. Switch the alert on in your Garage once you join.

Tesla shows you today's price. They will never show you what the same truck cost three weeks ago, because price history encourages waiting and waiting is not in their interest. Every change we have ever seen is in the counter above. Cybertruck sells direct with no dealerships, so listings scatter across Tesla's national inventory and vanish the moment they sell. The free site lets you see the count. Plus lets you watch: watchlist alerts the moment a price moves, the national market map, destination intel read from Tesla's own delivery-terminal data, and a trucks-in-your-area view, checked every few hours. Tesla doesn't publish build totals, so we don't invent one. We track every truck we see and nothing we can't.

Lease Watch · Plus

The number Tesla will not let you compare

Tesla will quote your lease. What they will not do is let you compare it, across ZIPs or across states, before you are deep in the configurator with your address on file. The tax is the genuinely hard part: it changes by ZIP, not by state, and one wrong rate quietly breaks the entire estimate. So we built the boring part properly and calibrated it against Tesla's own fees-and-taxes calculator, so the monthly it shows lines up with the monthly you would see at order. The same engine drives the purchase estimator, with the buy-side rules where states treat a sale differently than a lease. We don't claim it's perfect. We claim it's calibrated, and we show our work. This is also the section to judge us on: if our number matches Tesla's to the ZIP, the rest of this page is probably true too.

What's under the hood

The instrument cluster for your Cybertruck

Most Cybertruck resources are a forum thread and a spreadsheet someone updates when they remember. This is not that. Behind Plus sits a maintained dataset, sourced directly from Tesla, NHTSA, and Avalara and refreshed on a schedule whether or not anyone is looking. $4.99 a month is what keeps it running and pointed at your truck.

Why this costs money

Where every number comes from, and how current it is

We're a young platform and we're not going to pretend a crowd vouches for us. So here's the only thing that matters instead: where the data comes from and how often it moves. Plus isn't a feature you unlock; it's a data operation you rent. It goes out of date the moment it stops being maintained, which is exactly why it's a subscription and not a purchase. We don't sell your data, and your VIN is only ever used to match alerts to your truck.

Questions

Straight answers

You launched recently. Why no reviews or user counts?+

Because inventing them would be the fastest way to lose a Cybertruck owner's trust, and we'd rather earn it. There are no testimonials or user numbers on this page on purpose. We have no subscriber count to brag about yet, so we're not going to fake one. What we have is the dataset: 40,903 tax ZIPs, 11 recall campaigns matched to VINs, and 5 trucks from our own records, refreshed through the day rather than typed in by hand, and every one of those numbers comes straight from that data, where you can check it against Tesla and NHTSA yourself. We link the sources for exactly that reason. Judge the data, not a testimonial wall.

How accurate is the lease tax, really?+

It's resolved to the ZIP, not the state. The table covers 40,903 ZIP codes with 51 jurisdiction rules and 1,215 hand-verified local overrides where the headline state rate isn't what you really pay, refreshed quarterly from Avalara, and it's calibrated against Tesla's own fees-and-taxes calculator. We say calibrated, not guaranteed: tax data moves and edge cases exist, and no estimate is perfect to the penny. What we'll tell you is that it's built to land where Tesla's number lands, which is the number that actually matters, instead of the flat state rate most calculators use that can be off by a meaningful amount depending on your ZIP.

Is the inventory really live, or a stale snapshot?+

The count is live. The 5 you see is current the moment you open the page, not a cached number. Behind that, the listings refresh through the day, recalls weekly and software twice a week, and base lease rates refresh right along with them. We've logged 4,056 price changes as listings refreshed through the day. When a truck sells or drops in price, the page reflects it on the next refresh, and if it's on your watchlist, you get an email.

Why a subscription instead of a one-time payment?+

Because the data goes stale. A lease-tax table is wrong within a quarter, inventory turns over in days, and a new recall or software build can land any week. Plus isn't a file you download once. It's the every-few-hours checks, the quarterly Avalara refresh, and the VIN-matching that keep all of it current. A one-time payment would buy you a snapshot that's stale within a week. Stop paying and the maintenance stops; that's the honest shape of the thing, so we bill it monthly. The day it stops being worth $4.99 to you, you cancel in two clicks.

I already own my Cybertruck and I'm not leasing. Is Plus still for me?+

That's exactly who the alerts are for. Lease Watch is the leasing tool, but the recall, software, and offer alerts are pure ownership peace-of-mind. They watch the truck you already have and tell you when something on it changes, so you stop checking. Add the watchlist if you're eyeing a second truck or tracking resale, and the towing planner if you ever haul. Honestly: a recall or software build won't land every week, so some months the service is simply “nothing changed on your trucks”, which is the point. And if you genuinely never lease, never shop, and never tow, the free tier may be all you need, and that's fine. It's built to actually be useful on its own.

What stays free if I don't go Plus?+

A real, permanent free tier. Not a teaser, and we don't degrade it to push the paid one. The VIN decoder, recall lookup, four of the five calculators (range, charging, cargo, powershare; towing is the Plus one), the mods catalog, software list, offers, the Model Y L launch watch with its drop-day email, and your Garage with VIN claim are all free with an account, with no time limit. Plus adds the monitoring and intelligence layer on top: the lease and buy estimators, full nationwide inventory intelligence, the towing route planner, and the four alert emails tied to your trucks.

How does the free trial work, can I cancel, and is checkout safe?+

Sign in, then hit “Go Plus.” It starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required to begin. If you never add one, the trial simply ends on day 14 and you are never charged. Add a card any time to keep going at $4.99/mo, no contract and no annual lock-in. Checkout and billing run entirely through Stripe, so we never see your card details, and the “Manage billing” button opens the Stripe portal to cancel or update whenever you want.

Why this costs $4.99, plainly

$4.99 a month funds a standing data operation, not a feature flag. The manifest above is what never stops running. No tiers, no upsell ladder, no ads. The free tools stay genuinely free, so you can judge the work before you pay for the depth. A forum is free because nobody maintains it; this costs $4.99 because somebody has to, day in and day out, indefinitely.
